About Our Academy
Our Mission
At Magic City’s Dance World & Performing Arts Preparatory Academy, we believe theater is a powerful tool for learning. Our Theater & Literacy Academy is a unique, research-based program that blends reading instruction with drama and theater history, taught by an experienced, elementary-certified teacher.
Students attend 9 hours per week, gaining the skills to become strong readers, confident performers, and creative thinkers.

Belkis Puns is State Certified in Educational Leadership, Elementary Education, and holds a Reading Certification. She is a retired school administrator who served the public school system for 34 years. Belkis Puns is also CEO and Founder of Magic City's Dance World a National Dance Competition serving youth.
